Question.
I’ve performed many concerts where folks have questioned what the role of a viola is. They’ve asked what I’m “doing” with music. The answers are never clear, and I always end up asking myself… What is it I’m not doing with music? There is always a place to use a platform to further causes, to help, to be generous. Being intentional about repertoire choices, challenging perimeters, and pushing an agenda for the highest amount of inclusivity possible are some of the ways that I question.

Thrill.
Some songs, pieces, moments just stick with us. They lock in memories, moments where our hearts just beat a little faster. Can you recall a time you went to a concert that left you with these feelings? The air we breathe as performers lies in the notion that someone out there has goosebumps. And sometimes we get them too.
As a dedicated educator, Aimée draws on her experience as a young Waldorf School student for inspiration, highlighting wholesome and healthy mental wellness principles as well as nurturing well-rounded future artist citizens. She believes that once you begin creating sounds you become part of this valuable network. Her teaching highlights this responsibility while simultaneously encouraging playful, sandbox-like creativity, reflecting her own priorities as an artist citizen.

A beginner music experience designed for both child (4 and under) and parent. Sensory friendly and usually offered from my own home. Free form and flexible programming based on goals decided ahead of time. 30 mins long max.
90 minute version of my regularly offered private lessons. Useful for the young artists preparing for auditions, recitals, or recording sessions. Ideal for an hour of music (full run through) with time for debriefing. Piano contacts available with 60 days advance notice.
Eight 60 minute lessons for the price of seven, including invitations to two monthly studio classes. Lessons to be used within 60 days of purchasing. Ideal for the future artist looking to make big and lasting improvements to their music making. Consistency is key!
A monthly and sometimes twice monthly in person studio class, where students have the opportunity to perform for and meet each other, share tips and strategies, and cheer their peers on! This is also an opportunity to practice “performance mode”! What happens after we do all the work practicing? We get to share!
